The return trip from Laos should have been easy...
However when I got to the bus station both the 1030 and 1130 buses to Udon were sold out. Opted for the 1240 to Nong Khai rather than the 1400 to Udon.
The bus was stopped by Customs after immigration and I missed a buss to Udon by 5 minutes, Next Nong Khai - Udon bus should have been 1425, except they combined it with teh 1500. And as this one only went to the outskirts I opted for the 1500 to Chaiyaphum, stopping at Udon. By now I knew I'd not make the last Baht taxi from Nong Han.
Arrived at Udon having just missed the 1600 to Sakhon, so opted for the 1630 to Nakhon which left at 1620.
Arrived at Nong Han at 1700. Still the Tuk Tuk drivers were pleased to see me and home at 1720.
