Today is Chakri day, the founding day for the Chakri Dynasty of which the current king is the 9th King in the dynasty.
And next week, 13-15 is Songkran. So it's holiady season! Normally April is one of the hottesty months but it's not looking that way at the moment. Still I am sure that won't diminsh the amount of water thrown about.
Of course for the lucky residents of, and visitiors to, Pattaya their big Songkran day is on the 19th so a whole week, or more, of 'fun'
