had a nice relaxing couple of days and did some checking out of catering equipment. Stayed at the New Dusit D2 for a change as the Welcome Plaza was full. It does seem busier in town that last season. Other than that relaxed and did some clothes shopping.
As for the hotel, although pricey the rooms are great, once you get used to a bed in the middle of the room, glass wall for the shower. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Location right next to the Avenue is also good.
