Thailand’s low-cost airline, Nok Air, will operate flights from Bangkok to Hua Hin in Prachuap Khiri Khan starting 15 November this year.

Nok Air sells discounted fares to encourage travel on its domestic and regional network, November to March next year.
The “Travel Lover” promotion sells one-way fares, inclusive of airport taxes and surcharges, from Bt1,099 ex-Bangkok (Don Mueang) to Phitsanulok, Nakhon Phanom, Udon Thani , Ubon Ratchathani, and Surat Thani. The fare also includes the Chiang Mai–Mae Hong Son route.
Another Bt1,999 fare is on offer to Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Mae Sot, Nan, Roi Et, Loei,Sakon Nakhon, Buri Ram, Hua Hin, Hat Yai, Phuket, Krabi, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Trang, Chumphon, Ranong, and Chiang Mai–Udon Thani destinations.

Booking must be made before October 14


Lao Airlines will resume its Phnom Penh-Vientiane direct flights, three times a week starting in November after a break of five years.

VietJet Air will inject capital into at least three joint ventures with three Asian airlines in 2014 to increase its competitiveness in regional markets.  The airline managing director Luu Duc Khanh confirmed the airline was ready to invest in airlines in the region next year citiing Thailand’s Kan Air as one.  Plans are for domestic and international routes out of Bangkok.
